How does one justify the exponential amassing of wealth while the wealth and overall quality of life of the the other 99% of the population plummets? And can those of the elite status honestly uphold a so-called Democratic-Republic when this same elite class heavily influences congress to pass bills contrary to the best interest of the people?

Well, Jamie Johnson, heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune, summons the courage to ask such ‘forbidden questions’ while documenting this exploration on film. Jamie doesn’t claim to have the answers and some of his ideas may be questionable, but the degree of sincerity and boldness that it takes to address a subject that is considered taboo within the elite class is quite admirable.

As I watch this documentary created by Jamie Johnson, I recognize the sincerity of his endeavor as I identify with his astonishment over the system of values that surround him, and the great void and deep concern in his soul by the general lack of empathy toward humanity.

Needless to say, his film project, named “The One Percent”, experienced everything ranging from no support to sharp opposition from those in his class. It is interesting to see the hostile reaction from his family financial adviser and people like Warren Buffett and Milton Friedman.

Even more interesting was the dynamics of his own family. When Jamie’s father was young, he raised the same questions about the ‘wealth-gap’ and was involved in his own film documentary on the subject. Jamie’s father was strongly rebuked for this and never approached the subject again, and even with his son begging him to open up with his thoughts about it, refuses.

With all due respect to Jamie Johnson, I see his father as someone who appears to be in a crisis of conscience and resigned to cowardice- to the point where he cannot even bring himself to talk about such things with his own son; And when I look in his eye’s, I see a wealthy man with a hollow soul.

I don’t see Jamie as someone who wishes to dishonor his family, but someone who is torn between his allegiance to his family- and his allegiance to an even higher calling- to address the disturbing inequality of society. His courage is an exemplary example for others to follow.

Below is a one minute trailer of “The One Percent” directed by Jamie Johnson:

Watch now as Jamie Johnson sets his poise to enter the forbidden room of the elite society in this profoundly thought provoking documentary in full length:

This 80-minute documentary focuses on the growing “wealth gap” in America, as seen through the eyes of filmmaker Jamie Johnson, a 27-year-old heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune. Johnson, who cut his film teeth at NYU and made the Emmy®-nominated 2003 HBO documentary Born Rich, here sets his sights on exploring the political, moral and emotional rationale that enables a tiny percentage of Americans – the one percent – to control nearly half the wealth of the entire United States. The film Includes interviews with Nicole Buffett, Bill Gates Sr., Adnan Khashoggi, Milton Friedman, Robert Reich, Ralph Nader and other luminaries.

However, there is a trick that I will show you in this video that is very easy and effective.

Most standard default font size is a bit on the small side, which can inhibit the readability of your content, thus presenting yet another element that militates against your efforts to capture the attention of your audience. Enlarging the font size is one of the things that can accommodate a better experience for your visitors and incline them to return.

Now I do know this works great for WordPress, but not sure if it works for other types of sites, so whoever doesn’t have a WordPress site, try this to see if it works and let me know what happens- I’d be interested to know…

It all started when a few wealthy men by the likes of J.D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and J.P. Morgan, saw the massive profit potential of new medical treatments, such as radiation, surgery and synthetic drugs, that would transform medicine into a lucrative industry. The fortunes of these men were leveraged to take over the medical field by seducing the AMA (American Medical Association) with large funding and strategically buying-out the medical schools.

This medical monopoly then excluded the Empiric Healers who stimulated the body’s immune system to heal itself using nutritional therapy. Natural doctors or alternative cancer treatments of any kind were suppressed and ultimately banned in spite of how effective, proven and scientifically documented they were.

Don’t think for a second that we still need to “find” a cure for cancer.
There has, in fact, been, not only ‘a’ cure, but several cures; for not only decades, but centuries.

Below is a list of just some of the cures that have been suppressed and banned in the US and other countries:

Essiac

Gerson Therapy

Hoxsey Treatement

Sodium Bicarbonate Treatment

Laetrille

The above items are just some of the proven cures for cancer that have been labeled as “Quackery”, and interestingly enough, most of them have a few peculiar common denominators listed below:

Nutritional Therapy

Natural ingredients

Fairly inexpensive

Persecuted without fair reviews

A direct threat to medical industry profits

Had to go to other countries to continue curing people

Because alternative cancer treatments such as these would dramatically disrupt the status quo of the medical industry, the great “High-Priests” of medicine such as Dr. Morris Fishbein, Dr. Wallace Sampson and the AMA, had adamantly refused to sanction such treatments and vehemently battled against these alternatives, not by means of science, but by propaganda, monopolized control and minor legal technicalities.

Just like those who have monopolized oil for so many years- have suppressed alternate forms of fuel, so have those who monopolize “medicine”- suppressed alternate cures for cancer and other diseases; And it just so happens that those who monopolize oil and those who monopolize medicine are one in the same! It all makes sense when you follow the money…

This eye-opening documentary shows the ‘medical wars’ that have prevailed over alternative medicine in order to secure the highly lucrative cancer-business.

Meet Nessa Campbell, who helped her husband Rick beat cancer, which is just one of the testimonies of those I personally know who has won the battle by means of nutritional therapy:

“Our diets are lacking in minerals and our lives are too stressful. When people ask what we did to heal my husband Richards stage 4 prostate cancer, and if you remember, he had a year and a half to live five years ago… I tell them to start with organic foods… less stress and lots and lots of greens.
Greens are alkalizing and people with cancer have a very acidic environment. They need to cleanse not only there body but there colons. The other part of healing is the spiritual part… and that is another story for another day but they all go hand in hand. One more thing and you probably know what I mean when I say chemicals lead to chemicals…prescriptions lead to prescriptions and so on.”

The fundamental principle that was addressed in the above testimony was the biological environment of her husband Rick in reference to his pH balance; When the acid levels in the body are too high, then this creates an environment that enables cancer to thrive. But when acidifying foods are cut out of the diet and replaced with alkalizing foods, this takes away the elements which fuel cancer by raising the alkalinity levels. See The Acid/Alkaline Foods List

Also Nessa mentioned the element of stress as well as the spiritual aspect, so we see there was a more broad or holistic approach which was taken to overcome their condition. See Health and Wellness Tips for the Mind, Body & Spirit

If those who heal people by means of alternative cancer treatments are ‘quacks’, then long live the quacks!

Progressive thinking was always met with internal and external road-blocks, which has always presented the temptation to resign to mediocrity.

There were also some major set-backs, but because I was not willing to settle with wooden nickels, my determination powered by God’s grace prevailed, and continues to prevail through any type of adversities. Moving from limited thinking to progressive thinking is foundational to the psychology of success, and must be pursued in a bold and intentional way.

Tips On Overcoming Limited Thinking
There is a multitude of tips, techniques, training, resources and such to develop a healthier mindset, but here are just a few snappy tips that you can put into practice right away:

Take-in the goods: Consume information products & resources on the subject: books, websites, audio’s, video, seminars, workshops, etc.

Change your environment: Distance yourself from, or at least limit your time with narrow-minded friends and family and spend more of your time with positive and encouraging people who aren’t afraid to think big. Have good mentors.

Change-up your routine: Order something on the menu you haven’t ordered before, do the opposite of what you normally do on Friday night or Monday morning, go a different way to the market, do your daily routine backwards (switch morning from evening), and always be willing to stretch your comfort zone.

Welcome different perspectives: Don’t isolate yourself to one faction or category of people where everyone thinks the same, but be open to other people with other views. This doesn’t mean you need to adhere to various views, but just to be more open-minded and objective.

Welcome change: Consider an accident, setback, roadblock, detour, loss, misfortune or any kind of life altering event, however small or big, as an opportunity to grow and do something different.

Initiate change: Don’t just wait for change, make the change by living life intentionally and by design- not by default. It’s been well said that “If you want things in your life to change, than you must change things in your life”

Be committed to health & wellness: Regard your body as a holy temple that you are constantly improving as you vigilantly guard it from abuse, pollution, neglect and such. Your body can also be likened to your life-vehicle that you need to have running in optimum condition.

Be committed to personal development: Regard your mind and spirit as the inner-sanctum of your temple and your greatest asset that you constantly invest in to become an even better version of YOU.

A Masterpiece In Progress
Overcoming limited thinking is an essential element in the psychology of success and must be squared-off with in a courageous and proactive manner. As we begin to develop more positive and progressive thinking, we can then create a positive snow-ball effect with the power of advanced thinking.

The main idea here is to cultivate a mindset that is always moving forward. Rejoice and celebrate the milestones of progress, but don’t get complacent or ever think you have “arrived”. Always look for more possibilities and ways to improve and enjoy the process of designing your life-masterpiece of the only YOU there is.

Let us not confuse the limitations of our mind with the real possibilities of our life

Often the things that parents mean for their kids to listen to, get ignored, but the things they did not intend to teach, somehow get plastered into their psyche. When I was a teenager, one day I was listening to my dad explaining to his friend about the rise of real estate prices, as he was making a case for just how ‘out-of-reach’ owning a home was becoming.

His conclusion was, “I just don’t see the possibility of us ever buying a home”.

That idea immediately sunk into my mind and I then adopted a new belief. How odd it was that I always questioned my parents words, then suddenly, without question, embraced this thought as if it were an oracle straight from heaven. And once this idea was branded into my brain, I suddenly had a bias that dismissed all ideas that opposed my new-found belief as I adopted other beliefs that supported it, thus creating a snow-ball effect- all from one thought.

One example of a supporting thought I collected was from a CCR song,
“It ain’t me, it ain’t me, I ain’t no fortunate one…. It ain’t me… I ain’t no senators son.”

Consider the gravity of this limited thought; the suppressive force of such a belief that pushes one to utter mediocrity; How there is no hope for anyone who is not born into a well-to-do family; The droll resignation of higher aspirations accompanied with a spirit of adamant defeat.

Overcoming Limited Thinking
By now you get the picture that I was not prep-ed to be an entrepreneur, but my parents did, however, instill in me quite a strong work-ethic, which I wielded to grow my own business. Even so, I was still plagued with limited thinking as I only had a workhorse-mentality as opposed to that of a strategic entrepreneur.

The day I realized I was making more money than both my parents combined was a startling point for me that apprehended my momentum for a time. Fortunately, I pushed through that to grow further, but still had quite a long way to go in overcoming limited thinking.

It wasn’t until just a few years ago that I realized I had to start doing things differently, which I knew could only happen by thinking differently. I was on my way to an early death and just knew I had to break-out of my familiar mold. Slowly, I began to resign my perfectionistic tendencies and massive multitasking ways to make more room for the power of leverage.

This is no easy task for anyone who has to retrain their mind at a later age, because our brain establishes bio-pathways that locks-in our thinking to go a certain way. To change our thinking is much like blazing a new trail in uncharted territories, which can be arduous and even frightening at times.

It is true that we are a product of our environment, but for some of us, there comes a time when we selectively choose our environment, thus choosing the product of who we are

Too many people have dismissed the power of blogging because they just don’t see the point. Then there are others who also don’t see the point, but blog anyway because they heard it was good for biz.

And then there are those who know exactly why they blog, how they blog, what they blog and whom they blog to; thus rendering their blogging efforts more effective and productive.

So why do we blog ? …
It’s kind of hard to get into something and do it right if we don’t really understand why and how we’re doing it. Well, there are several very worthwhile reasons why we blog as well as key principles to the “what”, “how” and “who” of blogging that I will discuss here, which will help ignite a stronger sense of purpose and passion for a more fruitful blogging endeavor.

7 Reasons Why We Blog

Personal Branding Fundamental to any pursuit, is the meaning and purpose that drives it, so it is imperative to define and clarify your endeavor. Equally important is communicating who you are as a person and what you’re about so to exemplify a unique selling point about what it is that differentiates you from your competition. Blogging is a medium that enables you to communicate these things by establishing a platform that helps you position yourself as a distinct expert, all while demonstrating authenticity with your unique personality.
See What Is Branding and Why You Need Your Own Personal Brand?

Free Traffic In a time when paid traffic is getting much more expensive, free traffic is an appealing source to leverage. But many website owners do not know how to drive this kind of traffic to there site. Blogging is the life-blood of free traffic, and if done with effective strategy, this traffic can be quite targeted.

Content Archive Content creation is an evergreen information-age marketing method that has a wide variety of uses. Building an archive of quality content is an important component in establishing you and your website as a valuable resource. Each piece of content, whether it be a blog post, video, article, etc, is an asset that can be used and reused for different purposes, such as- information products, reference catalog, SEO strategy, social media strategy, email marketing and so on.
See 10 Tips On Creating Compelling Content

Delivering Value Coming from a position of genuine value is the best way, and really the only legit way to run an enterprise. Blogging on a frequent basis is a great way to deliver value that keeps your visitors and customers coming back for fresh and valuable updates.
See The Proliferating Effect of Delivering Value and Generosity

Interaction Blogging frequently also creates an interactive dynamic with your visitors that facilitates in building better relationships as well as recognition by search engines. Comment dialogue and social signals such as Facebook “Likes” or “Shares”, or Twitter “Tweets” are some of the community elements of blogging that keeps your site alive and vibrant.

Authority Publishing valuable content establishes your authority in your field which can set you apart from your competition and help get you in front of your target audience.

Refining Your Expertise If nothing else, blogging will cause you to think more deeply about what you are doing and what is so special about what you have to offer. A diligent blogger will increase the value of their expertise by doing more research, taking deeper analysis, staying current, improving articulation & presentation and becoming more grounded in their field.

So now lets talk about strategy
Now that we see why we blog, the next thing to consider is how we blog. Implementing some strategy with your blogging will fuel your content with better mileage. Certainly, you must have quality content, but without some strategy, your content may not go very far. Below is a list of certain strategies that can be used to optimize your content exposure.

Keyword Research Strategy Finding the right phrase of words which is relevant to your topic, then crafting your content around these keywords- is basic keyword strategy. These keywords should have high search volume, but low-to-moderate competition.
See Keyword Research Basics

Social Media Strategy Engaging with people in a natural and nonthreatening way with good social tact on the premise of genuine respect for people are some of the basic ingredients for effective social media strategy. Wielding some of the special community features like groups and specialized pages can go a long way, but most important is practicing good humane relation skills. See Social Media Etiquette and Online Humane Relations Defined

Links Strategy The permalink is the URL address of your blog posts, which should reflect the title. Internal links are the those that link to other posts on your site. Anchor text is a clickable text in a hyperlink- like those you see in the past three sentences. Outbound links is when you link to other websites as a reference. Backlinks , or inbound links, are when other websites refer to your site by linking back to it; which will only happen if you have quality content.

Quality Content With the amount of noise on the web today, there is an even greater need to deliver valuable content that is captivating and thought provoking. There’s a multitude of distractions and diversions competing for the attention of our prospective audience, so creating compelling content is very worthwhile. See Creating Compelling Content

Community Blogs Leveraging the power of a community website of other bloggers is quite an effective way to gain greater exposure to your content, as well as getting ranked at the top of search results for even more exposure. The better your content, the more likely you will qualify for a high authority community site.

Syndication Tribes This is another type of community strategy that multiplies your exposure by having a group of people who circulate each others content

SEO Plugins Optimize your search results with plugins like “All in One SEO Pack”, “Ultimate Tag Warrior” and “BWP Google XML Sitemaps”

Who are we blogging to?
So we’ve seen why we blog and how we blog; now lets look at whom we blog. Attempting to be all things to all people is a nice sentiment, but it generally doesn’t go very far in the market place unless you have mega-resources for a massively diverse product line. Targeting a niche-market is the best way to go, so here are a few items to consider when identifying your target audience:

Determine the demographic profile of your target audience: Age, gender, interest, marital status, education, income, etc.

Determine the values of your target audience: Interest, lifestyle, venues they shop, choices they make, etc.

By now, we should have a better idea of why we blog, how we blog and whom we blog. With all things considered, there can be a lot of work that goes into blogging, but be careful to avoid becoming overwhelmed. Not every blog post has to be a monumental piece of content. Sometimes keeping it short, simple and sweet is the best way to update your site. Setting reasonable goals and taking one step at a time is a good way to go- and remember to let your personality shine and have fun!

Change happens! And there has certainly been some very big changes with Google Panda Algorithm. Many webmasters lost their income overnight as their top ranking websites dropped to the bottom like a cold brick. Subsequently, other webmasters suddenly experienced much better rankings than before. So what is this all about? Why is this happening? And what is “Panda”?

Panda is Google’s corrective measure for search result ranking algorithm in response to mass exploitation and manipulation by many webmasters who have been dominating search results with “low-value sites” by finding loop-holes and manipulating the system. This, of course, was pushing down the “high-quality sites” as it was quite easy to “game” the system. With Panda, not so easy now.

I’m sure anyone can recall the frustration of searching for something on the net and finding nothing but garbage sites filled with advertisements. And it’s been even more frustrating for webmasters who labor to create high-quality sites- only to be outranked by low to no-value sites. Well change is certainly happening and the tables are turning in favor of high-quality sites as low-value sites are being de-indexed.

Panda Algorithm Overview
Panda was first released in February 2011 and went global in March of that year, but was not quite effective until the recent updates which have just hit the U.S. and very soon will be impacting the rest of the globe. Essentially, Panda is a form of artificial intelligence that has evolved to “think” more closer to a human level as it can also “learn” in a more sophisticated and scalable way than ever before.

The purpose of Google’s Panda is to promote a healthy web-ecosystem to deliver quality search results to make it easier for people to find what they’re looking for. Panda is achieving this by devaluing garbage sites and rewarding quality sites. The basic principles that govern Panda algorithm are as follows:

Quality Content- Originality, length, authority, quality and relevance

Site Metrics- User experience, time on site, bounce rate, load time, etc.

Back-link Evaluation- Link profile, quality and relevance

Social Signals- Comments, social media response, reviews and citations

Authority & Verification- Establishes and protects authorship

What Will Not Work Anymore

Low to no-value ad sites

Duplicate content

Low % spun content

Auto-blogging

Fabricated back-links

High pitch-to-content ratio

Copy & paste i.e. Amazon customer reviews

What Will Work with Panda Algorithm

Content Marketing

Authority Sales

Adsense

Effective Social Media Strategy

Effective Mobile Strategy

Local Research / Offline Marketing

“Personalized Search” SEO individual preference

Lead Generation/ List Building

Video marketing

Mobile / Multi-modal

Services

Questions Webmasters Need To Ask About Their Own Content

Would you trust the information? Was it written by an expert?

What is the value compared to the SERP results?

Is it original content, adequately researched with accurate analysis and reporting?

Are there spelling, stylistic or factual errors? Well edited or sloppily & hastily produced?

Does it deliver real value and good experience or does it have selfish motives?

As a webmaster, all I can say is I am so glad I never fell for black-hat techniques such as ‘fabricated back-links’ and ‘fake reviews’ because now it will really pay-off for keeping things on the up-&-up. I did have to put some work into adequately spinning some of my own duplicate content, but I definitely do not need to start from scratch like so many other webmasters are having to do.

Well I hope this info about Panda algorithm has been helpful- I know it sure has been for me. Much of the information in this article I gleaned from a webinar hosted by Adam Franklin and delivered by Mike Ullman and I must say it was one of the best webinars I ever watched- Thanks guys!

The further we get away from the natural state of our food, the less compatible it becomes to our body’s assimilation process. In fact, our body will have to take a defensive response to much of the “food” we consume.

It’s important to have a basic understanding of how our biochemistry interacts with food-chemistry. This association is termed as nutritional chemistry, which varies depending on each individuals unique biochemistry. See- What is Nutritional Chemistry?

Wholefoods are foods that are not processed or refined, but left in their natural condition. Eating foods that are as close to as nature intended is foundational to a healthy diet, because that is how our bodies are designed to assimilate. Consider the three levels of nutrition:

Macro-nutrients – carbs, protiens & fats

Micro-nutrients – vitamins & minerals

Phyto-nutrients – antioxidant-rich food

Deep green foods have the highest nutrient density followed by other vegetables and fruits. As already mentioned, eating these kind of wholefoods is the way our bodies are designed to be nourished, yet there are certain factors to consider:

Unfortunately, the production methods of our food is generally poor, which results in food with low nutrient density with various toxins. Buying organic foods is a great way to go, but it still may not guarantee the nutrition level we need. This leaves us with the need to supplement our diet, but even supplements can be found in certain wholefoods and superfoods as opposed to artificial vitamin supplements.

When we attempt to give our body nutrients that have been synthetically extracted and crammed into mega-doses, our body will resist as if it were a drug. Another way to go is to supplement deficiencies by eating more foods that are rich in the nutrients needed. Sometimes it may be best to take certain supplements such as Vitamin B6 or Omega 3 Fatty Acids, but it will be best to use those that are in the most natural form for optimum assimilation.

Superfoods are an excellent form of natural supplements. Below is a list of outstanding superfoods:

Maqui Berry

Personal branding has taken the network marketing industry by storm. Network marketers are moving away from only using replicated systems and marketing funnels provided by their company, into expanding their marketing strategy into one that reflects their unique values, passions and skills.

People buy from people, and network marketers are now selling their personal brand before promoting their company products and opportunity.

This allows networkers to build true relationships and attract their own ideal market. It creates sustainable businesses for people who truly embrace entrepreneurship and who want to OWN their business.

So how does one ‘build’ a personal brand?

Your personal brand should reflect the personal value you bring to anything you promote. It supports the trust factor with your customers. It attracts people to YOU no matter what you sell.

A great way to define your personal brand is to define the following:

Your interest and passions

Your existing strength and skills

Your personality and mindset

Your inspiration and creativity

Your goals and your vision

Your activities and experiences

Your personal circumstance and demographics

Your personal brand must capture the most personally defining elements that you can utilize and promote to grow your business. When refining your brand, you should focus on those skills, passions and traits that will attract your ideal customers, and allow them to relate to you and your business. Remember that, while your brand is about YOU, the actual objective is to engage and serve your customers.

Giving your brand room to grow

A sustainable brand includes who you are now, and also who you are becoming. Your brand is not limited to your past achievements or current level of expertise. The key is to create a sustainable brand; by integrating your vision, your ambition and other assets moving you forward. This will allow you to demonstrate your drive and leadership, and tell your audience that they will continue to benefit from your long-term growth, should they decide to follow you.

What will your brand look like?

While we all know that it’s what’s inside that counts, you’ll still be judged by your brand image and personality. You usually have only a few seconds to show your brand online and grab your audience’s attention on your website and social media profiles. Of course, you will never be able to reveal all that you have to offer within those first few seconds, but your image should inspire people to want more!

Having a brand image that reflects the foundations of your personality brand AND your business will help you pique and retain your ideal customer’s attention. Not only do you want your image to be attractive, it must also be genuine and memorable! Select colors, logos, images and text that can trigger emotions, inspire trust and reflect your real value.

Personal branding will always be about genuine entrepreneurship. For network marketers, selling products, services and business opportunities online, it’s the most powerful vehicle for leadership, attraction marketing and building a sustainable business.
